她的心靈疼痛哀傷;

朋友,這第七處,是考驗你意志的一個機會;

The wonderful power of rosary

( From : The secret of the rosary , by st montfort .)

THE ROSARY AND EXORCISM

The rosary is the scourge of the devil”

-Pope Adrian VI

The Rosary is a powerful weapon to put the demons to flight and to keep oneself from sin…

-Pope Pius XI

"The Rosary shall be a powerful armor against hell, it will destroy vice, decrease sin, and defeat heresies." The Blessed Mother to Saint Dominic Guzman (the 15 promises of the Rosary)

From :

https://catholic-link.org/quo

If you say the Rosary faithfully until death, I do assure you that, in spite of the gravity of your sins, you shall receive a never fading crown of glory. For even if you are now on the brink of damnation, even if you have one foot in hell, even if you have sold your soul to the devil…

sooner or later you will be converted and will amend your life and save your soul. If–you say the Rosary devoutly every day of your life.

~St. Louis De Montfort

From :

https://stmaryspearland.org/news/power-of-the-holy-rosary

Father Gabriel Amorth, chief exorcist of the Vatican writes:

One day a colleague of mine heard the devil say during an exorcism: "Every Hail Mary is like a blow on my head. If Christians knew how powerful the Rosary was, it would be my end." The secret that makes this prayer so effective is that the Rosary is both prayer and meditation. It is addressed to the Father, to the Blessed Virgin, and to the Holy Trinity, and is a meditation centered on Christ..

Nuns should not have too great affection for her family

WAYS TO HELP US AVOID PURGATORY

Purgatory is a great gift from God…one final opportunity to be purified. The fact is, however, that it’s God’s wish that we never need it. After all, what loving Father would desire to be separated from his son or daughter even one extra moment than necessary? God gives us every opportunity we need in this life to be perfected, because he desires us to be fit upon death to be with him.

How can we best avoid purgatory? Here are five easy ways.

1. Get Holier through the Sacraments

The whole point of being Catholic is to become holier and thus, closer to God. And to become holy, you need grace. Go to confession often–weekly if possible. God to Mass as often as possible, too, so you’ll receive the grace from the Eucharist. Try to make morning Mass at least one extra weekday if you can. If you’re ill or having a medical procedure with serious risk, request the Anointing of the Sick from your priest. Do your best to receive sacramental graces as often as possible.

2. Suffer Gratefully

As described in part 1, one of the many purposes of suffering in this life is to atone for the temporary, earthly effects of our sins. So instead of kicking and screaming when life’s inevitable suffering and sacrifices come your way, embrace them and offer them to God to expiate your sins (or that of loved ones). Offer even small frustrations to God for atonement, like getting cut off in traffic or dealing with a grouchy toddler or ill. One easy way to do this is to make a Morning Offering. Then God can use everything that happens for your spiritual benefit.

3. Seek Indulgences

Especially efficacious, too, are indulgences through the Church. In essence, an indulgence is God saying, “I forgive your debts; you owe nothing to my justice.” It removes even the temporal punishment due to sin. To gain an indulgence, we must generally do four things: receive Confession, receive the Eucharist, offer prayers for the Pope, and perform a good act. And if we do these things without attachment to sin, then God forgives not only the guilt of our sin, but the debt we owe, too.  To learn about the Biblical and historical foundation for indulgences, visit Catholic Answers here

4. Get Close to Your Mother

The Virgin Mary is perhaps our most powerful intercessor when it comes to purgatory. As she told St. Bridget, “I am the Mother of all those who are in the place of expiation; my prayers mitigate the chastisements which are inflicted upon them for their faults.”

Mary’s intercession is illustrated beautifully in a vision given to Blessed Renier of Citeaux. This religious, who had a great devotion to Mary, was one day thinking about purgatory, and became fearful of facing Divine Justice. He was caught up in a vision, where he saw the Mother of God advocating for him with Jesus.

“My son, deal mercifully with him in Purgatory, because he humbly repents of his sin,” he heard the Virgin say to Jesus. To which Our Lord replied, “My Mother, I place his cause in your hands.” Renier understood with unutterable joy that his devotion to Our Lady had merited him an exemption from purgatory.

The Venerable Sister Paula of St. Teresa, a Dominican religious in Naples, also witnessed the Blessed Virgin’s especial love for souls devoted to her. One day Sister Paula was transported in spirit to purgatory, and was surprised to find it illuminated by a bright light. She’d had previous visions of purgatory and it had always been a dark and gloomy place. While wondering about the difference, she saw the Queen of Heaven surrounded by angels and giving orders to liberate those souls who had especially honored her during their lifetime.

According to many revelations, this happens every Saturday, and also on every Marian feast day. The Feast of the Assumption has been revealed to be the day Mary shows the greatest mercy, delighting to introduce a large number of souls into the glory of heaven on the anniversary of the day she herself first entered the full glory of God.

5. Ask the Angels for Help

Revelations from numerous saints have confirmed that our guardian angels’ devotion and service to us continues in purgatory. Blessed Emilia was a Dominican religious in Italy, and her convent had a rule never to drink between meals without the express permission of the Superior. Not that this permission was lightly given; Prioress Amelia advised her sisters to make the sacrifice cheerfully, in memory of the burning thirst our Savior had endured for us on the Cross. To encourage them, she suggested that they confide the water they would have drunk to their guardian angels, that their protector might preserve it to temper the heat of purgatory.

One day a sister named Cecilia was very thirsty and asked for water. When the Prioress did not give permission, but instead encouraged her daughter as mentioned before, the young nun went away grieved but she obeyed her superior.

A few weeks later Sister Cecilia died, and after three days she appeared to Mother Amelia, shining gloriously. “O Mother,” she said. “How grateful I am to you! I was condemned to a long purgatory for having had too great affection for my family, and behold, after two days, I saw my guardian angel enter my prison, holding in his hand the glass of water which you caused me to offer as a sacrifice to my Divine Spouse. He poured that water upon the flames which devoured me, they were extinguished immediately, and I am delivered. I take my flight to heaven, where my gratitude will never forget you.”

Excellent passage about rosary 1

 THE ROSARY AND EXORCISM

“The rosary is the scourge of the devil”

-Pope Adrian VI

The Rosary is a powerful weapon to put the demons to flight and to keep oneself from sin…

-Pope Pius XI

"The Rosary shall be a powerful armor against hell, it will destroy vice, decrease sin, and defeat heresies." The Blessed Mother to Saint Dominic Guzman (the 15 promises of the Rosary)

an example was the 1948 story of the Possesed 10 years old boy, in Saint Louis Missouri that inspired the 1973 William Peter Blattys movie The Exorcist..where the family (who later all converted to the Catholic faith) sought the help of a protestant Pastor, a failure the protestant pastor was attacked by the demon and run out of the house in horror. Why? Because they the protestant have no authority coming from Christ and His church..in contrast with the effectiveness of Catholic exorcist priests in doing the task , a sign given by Heaven that the Catholic church is the true church that Jesus established where he authorized it to expel demons in His name.

The Holy Rosary is an important weapon in the arsenal of an Exorcist in fighting demonic attacks, I've witnessed personally first hand how demon possesed invidiuals writhing squirming in pain once the Rosary was said or come into contact with these sacred objects . One example was when I was invited to attend an Exorcism seminar workshop conducted by Monsi Bandejo the Exorcist at the Archibishop Palace the former residence of the late Jaime Cardinal Sin and the place where Saint Pope John Paul II stayed during his 2 visits in the Philippines.

Spiritually and physically poor are those who are blessed.

That being said, physical poverty (material and financial) is often associated with holiness, yes. Jesus, Himself, praised the economically poor on more than one occasion (Luke 4:18, 7:22; Matthew 11:25) and He shared in physical hardship often living in a destitute way (Matthew 21:18, John 4:6-7, Luke 9:58). Truthfully, the Incarnation, itself, is a living example of poverty as God emptied Himself and took on flesh (2 Corinthians 8:9, Philippians 2:7-8).

Jesus even teaches that loving the poor is a condition we must fulfill if we are to enter into His Kingdom (Matthew 25:31-46).

Now, the phrase ‘poor in spirit’ speaks to an even deeper reality … beyond physical poverty … but to true spiritual poverty. To be poor in spirit means to acknowledge our deepest human need for God and to grow in that longing and that dependence on a daily basis. It’s only when we realize how badly we need God and how we are nothing without Him that we become worthy of the Kingdom He promises us (Matthew 5:3); when we realize we are the beggars, our gratitude to the Giver (of life) becomes that much greater.

The key isn’t whether you have money or have it not, but whether you have God or have Him not. As the great St. Francis de Sales put it in his “Introduction to the Devout Life” (which is a must read, by the way):

“Woe then to those who are rich in spirit, for their portion will be hell. He is rich in spirit whose heart is in his riches, and whose riches fill his heart… if you possess them, preserve your heart from loving them. Do not, then, complain of your poverty (if you are poor), for we complain only of that which displeases us; and if poverty displeases you, you are no longer poor in spirit, for your heart would rather be otherwise.”

Poor can refer to a person crouched in a corner begging, but this is not the same definition that Jesus refers to in this passage. The phrase “poor in spirit” does not mean economic poverty.

Some people have given all their earthly possessions away without possessing the spirit that Jesus is describing. Jesus is talking about spiritual poverty and not monetary poverty. To truly experience this spiritual poverty, we must come before the Lord broken, humble, empty of pride and conscious of the debt owed for our sins. “Poor in spirit” includes an honest confession that we are sinful and utterly without the moral virtues that we need to commend to God.

This deepest form of repentance acknowledges our desperate need for God. Those who are poor in spirit gladly cast themselves on God’s grace. To be poor in spirit is the personal acknowledgement of spiritual bankruptcy before God. When we recognize our spiritual poverty, there is nothing there to protect or preserve. We’re empty. Jesus teaches us that if we want to achieve wholeness of life, if we want to be fulfilled human beings, if we want to be blessed in this way, if we want to experience genuine joy, we must accept the reign of God, acknowledge our complete dependence on Him and place our complete trust in Him.

We need to trust in God enough to be able to accept His way of fulfillment without reservation.

Brokenness and humbleness allow us to truly experience God and all He has for us. We do not have the spiritual resources in ourselves to put Jesus’ teachings into practice. You and I cannot fulfill God’s standards by ourselves. All that is left for us to do is to come before the Lord “poor in spirit” and in humility. Those who are close to God are poor in spirit, and those who are not poor in spirit are far from God.

So, blessed are those who realize their constant need for God over, above and beyond everything else. Blessed are those not chained to the material and passing pleasures and luxuries of this finite world. Blessed are those free from anything and everything that would interfere with an ever-growing awe of God’s mercy and love. Blessed are those who recognize that no matter how their life is going in the eyes of the world, they are successful in heaven when they are faithful on earth. Blessed are those who need nothing more than God’s love and want nothing more than to share that love with all they encounter.

Power of rosary

Our lady is happy with us who pray rosary :

When you say your Rosary, the angels rejoice, the Blessed Trinity delights in it, my Son finds joy in it too, and I myself am happier than you can possibly guess. After the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, there is nothing in the Church that I love as much as the Rosary.”

Our Lady to Blessed Alan de la Roche

Saint Francis is an incorruptible saint, he also pray rosary

The example of Saint Francis de Sales, the great spiritual director of his time, should spur you on to join the holy confraternity of the Rosary, since, great saint that he was, he bound himself by oath to say the whole Rosary every single day as long as he lived.

Power of rosary :

The Rosary provides in spiritual conflict as well. Bartolo Longo was the son of wealthy and devout Catholic parents, both of whom prayed the Rosary every  day. In the late 1800s a young and disillusioned Bartolo, having lost his beloved mother, was studying law at the University of Naples. Through the influence of acquaintances, Bartolo began dabbling in the occult and pagan rituals. He was eventually “ordained” a satanic priest, after which he focused on undermining the Catholic Church and ridiculing all things Christian. His demonic obsession (slightly different than possession), began to cause declining physical health, extreme depression, paranoia, and eventually a mental breakdown. After hitting bottom, he heard his deceased father’s voice telling him: Return to God!

A friend of Bartolo’s put him in touch with a Dominican priest who heard his confession and received him back into the Church. Shortly afterward, Bartolo experienced a mystical locution, during which he heard the priest repeating these words to him: “If you seek salvation, promulgate the Rosary.” He was so moved that he dedicated his life to spreading devotion to the Rosary. He eventually became a Third Order Franciscan, taking the name Brother Rosario. Today, the basilica he built in Pompeii still welcomes millions of pilgrims a year to see the church built by a former satanist who dedicated the rest of his life to sharing the truth of the faith through the Rosary. Having been beatified in 1980, Bartolo is now “Blessed Bartolo,” proving that the Rosary can save souls as well as win battles.
