Rosa Mystica 1947-1966

It was in 1531 that the Mother of God appeared to Juan Diego in Tepeyac Hill in Mexico and performed "the miracle of the roses" as proof to Bishop Zumarraga of her presence. Roses never grew on that rocky terrain, and certainly not in December. Moreover, when, in their surprise, the bishop's attendants tried to pick and take some of them from his tilma, they could not do so because they became, as one author put it, "not roses that they touched, but as if they were painted or embroidered." Indeed, they were "mystical roses" from the hands of the Mystical Rose herself.

The Litany of Loreto lists many of her titles, but there is a flower amongst them; the Mystical Rose. Truly, the rose is the queen of all the flowers, and there is something in the Heavenly arrangement of Its petals and Its coloring, there Is something In Its scent and symmetry, In the modesty of its green leaves, which makes it very special. It is the flower which captures the heart at nearly every stage of its growth, even when a bud. While It grows, Its petals gradually unfold as a token, as It were, of the blossoming of the lover's love for his loved one.

Mary, the most beautiful of God's creation, is indeed "the Incarnate Rose," especially chosen for God's garden. She is the "rose of Sharon and the lily of the valleys" [Song 2:1]. There is no rose comparable to her and she has made Paradise ever so much more beautiful.

But if you call her a rose, white is the color of her purity; gold, the tint of her royalty; red, the hue of her suffering. The rose grows out from a stem of thorns and in the heart of this flower, the red of the Cross of her son was forming. Indeed, without thorns a rose is not a rose, and without the thorn of great suffering, Mary could not have become the Mystical Rose of God's Paradise.

THE BEGINNING OF THE APPARITIONS AT MONTICHIARI IN 1947

Mary Appears as the "Rosa Mystica" In Montichiari

Montichiali with its suburb Fontanelle is a small town in Northern Italy, twenty kilometers from Brescia, the bishop's town. It is situated in front of the Italian Alps in the fertile plain of the river Po. The name means in English, "Bright Mountains." On a hill lies the old castle of St. Mary and the venerable Church of San Pancrazio.

First Apparition

Pierina Gilli was born on August 3, 1911, at Montichiari and worked as a nurse in the hospital there. The first time, the dear Mother of Christ appeared to her in a room of the hospital, in the spring of 1947. Our Lady, a beautiful woman, wore a violet dress and a white veil around her head. She was very sad, her eyes were filled with tears which fell to the floor. Her breast was pierced by three big swords. Our Lady said, "Prayer-Penitence-Expiation" and was silent.

Second Apparition

On June 13, 1947, Our Lady appeared again in the hospital early one Sunday. morning. This time she was dressed in white and instead of the three swords she had three roses: a white one, a red one, and a golden one. Pierina Gilli asked her, "Please tell me who you are." The Lady answered, smiling, "I am the Mother of Jesus and the Mother of all of you."

Here she paused, then she went on, "Our Lord sends me to bring a new Marian devotion for all male and female institutes, religious orders, and secular priests. I promise those religious institutes, orders, and secular priests who venerate me in this special way my special protection, an increase of spiritual vocations, fewer betrayed vocations, and great sanctity among the servants of God. I wish the 13th of each month to be celebrated as the day of Mary. On the twelve preceding

days, special prayers of preparation should be said."

With an expression of great joy, she went on, "On this day I shall send to these religious institutes, members of orders, and secular priests who have honored me in this way, a superabundance of graces and great sanctity. I wish the 13th of July of each year to be celebrated in honor of the 'Rosa Mystica,' the Mystical Rose."

Pierina asked whether she would perform a miracle. Our Lady answered, "The most evident miracle will be the godly souls, who for some time, especially during the last war, became lukewarm, so that they were unfaithful or even betrayed their vocation, will cease to offend Our Lord gravely. By their great offenses, they brought punishment and persecution upon the Church-----as we experience it in our days-----but then the original spirit of their holy founders will blossom again."

With these words the conversation ended. Now Our Lady explained to Pierina the meaning of the three swords and the three roses. A moving explanation which is to taken quite seriously!

The first sword means loss of the vocation as a priest or a monk. The second sword means priests, monks, and nuns who live in deadly sin. The third sword means priests and monks who commit the treason of Judas. While giving up their vocation, they often lose also their faith, their eternal beatitude, and become enemies of the Church.

The white rose means the spirit of prayer. The red rose means the spirit of expiation and sacrifice. The yellow or golden rose means the spirit of penitence.

Third Apparition on October 22, 1947

The beautiful woman appeared again, this time in the chapel of the hospital in Montichiari during the service. Many employees of the hospital, some physicians, and people from the town were present.

Our Lady asked for the realization of the devotion she had recommended and said among other things, "My Divine Son, tired of the continuing offenses, wanted to act according to His justice. So I placed myself as a Mediatrix between Him and the human race, especially the specially consecrated souls."

Pierina thanked her for that in the name of all who were present. Our Lady took leave with a beautiful thought for Pierina saying, "Vivi d'amore!" which means, "Live for love-----for charity!"

Fourth Apparition on November 16, 1947

Our Lady appeared publicly in the parish church of Montichiari in the presence of some people, among whom were also several priests. Among other things she said, "Our Lord, my Divine Son, is tired of the many offenses, the severe offenses, the sins against holy purity . . . " Here she paused and then went on, "He wants to send another flood of punishment.  . . ."  Here she stopped again for some moments and then went on, "I have interceded that He may be merciful once more. Therefore I ask for your prayer and penitence to expiate these sins."

Pierina said, "Yes!" and agreed to these wishes of Our dear Lady. The conversation went on, "I ardently ask the priests to admonish the people in love that they do not commit these sins any more." Pielina asked, "Will He then pardon us?" Our Lady answered, "Yes, so long as one does not commit them any more." With these words she went away.

Fifth Apparition on November 22, 1947

Our Lady appeared again in the parish church in the presence of several persons. First she told Pierina Gilli to make four crosses with her tongue on the floor just in the middle of the church, exactly under the dome. (A humiliating act of expiation!) Then she descended on the crosses and said, "I descend on this place because it is here that great conversions will occur." Somewhat sadly she went on, "Today specifically, there are Christians of your Italian nation who most offend our Lord, my Divine Son Jesus, by their sins against holy purity. Therefore, the Lord demands, prayer, great sacrifices, and penitence." Pierina asked, "What have we to do to fulfill your wish for prayer and penitence?" Our Lady answered mildly, "Prayer" (here she was silent for some moments and continued), "Penitence means acceptance of the little daily crosses and also doing one's work in the spirit of penitence."

And in all her majesty she gave a promise with the following words, "On December 8th, at noon, I shall appear here again in the parish church and it will be the hour of grace." Pierina Gilli asked, "Please, explain to me! What does it mean, the hour of grace?" Our Lady replied, "The hour of grace-----great and numerous conversions will occur." Here she paused again for some moments and continued, "Souls, totally hardened, cold as this marble, will be touched by Divine grace and become faithful and God-loving again."

This was the only time that Our dear Lady predicted a future appearance. All the other apparitions happened unexpectedly.

Sixth Apparition on December 7, 1947

This time when Our Lady appeared again in the parish church there were only three persons present. Among them was the Reverend Confessor of the seer. Our Lady, as "Rosa Mystica," wore a white cloak. This was held at the right side by a boy, at the left side by a girl. Both were also dressed in white.

Our Lady said, "Tomorrow I shall show you my Immaculate Heart which human beings know so little." Here she paused and then went on, "In Fatima I spread the dedication to my Immaculate Heart." With heartfelt expression she went on, "In Bonate I tried to introduce this devotion into Christian families." (Bonate, where Our Lady appeared during the war, is situated near Bergamo.)

Here she made a somewhat longer pause, then continued, "Here in Montichiari I wish the devotion of the 'Rosa Mystica,' together with the veneration of my Immaculate Heart, to be increased in the religious institutes and the monastic communities, in order that these souls dedicated to God may receive more graces from my motherly Heart."

Then Our Lady told Pierina a mystery and promised that she herself would let her know when she had to reveal it. Pierina asked, "Who are the two children at your side?"

Our Lady answered, "Jacinta and Francesco. They will be your companions in all your afflictions. They too have suffered, though they were much younger than you. Look, this is how I would like you to be-----simple and good-----as these children used to be." Our Lady extended her arms protectingly, looked up to Heaven and exclaimed, "Sia benedetto il Signore!" which means, "Praised be the Lord!" Then she disappeared.

Seventh Apparition on December 8, 1947

On this great feast of St. Mary, some thousand people had gathered from everywhere. Pierina Gilli had great difficulty in getting into the overcrowded parish church. She knelt down on the spot where the other appearances had taken place. While people were praying the Rosary, she exclaimed, "Oh, La Madonna!" (Our Lady).

At once, there was a great silence. The pastor, Monsignore Abate Francesco Rossi, reported that many participants told him later, (though thousands of people were in the overcrowded church), it had become so still that one could hear the humming of a single fly. Our Lady appeared on a big white staircase which was decorated on both sides with white and yellow and red roses. Our dear Lady smiled and said, "I am the Immaculate Conception." And with great majesty, descending, she said, "I am Mary of Grace, that is, the Full of Grace, Mother of my Divine Son Jesus Christ."

Descending farther she continued, "I come here to Montichiari because it is my wish to be appealed to and venerated as 'Rosa Mystica.' I wish people to celebrate each year on December 8th at noon the hour of grace for the whole world. With this exercise, one will receive numerous spiritual and bodily graces. Our Lord, my Divine Son Jesus, will be abundantly merciful so long as good men go on praying for their fellow men. As soon as possible, let the Supreme Shepherd of the Church, Pope Pius XII, know it is my wish that this hour of grace be publicized and spreadthroughout the whole world. If someone cannot go to church at this time, he is to pray at noon at home, and he will receive graces from me. He who prays on these bricks and sheds tears of repentance will find a secure ladder to Heaven and get protection and graces from my Motherly Heart."

With these words Our beautiful and radiant Lady showed Pierina her Heart and burst into the following words, "Look at this Heart which loves human beings so very much, though most of them overwhelm it with abuses!" Here she paused a moment, and then went on, "When good people and bad people unite in prayer, they will receive mercy and peace from this Heart. At present the Lord has been merciful to the good ones because of my intercession. This has delayed a great judgment of God." Smiling, she went on, "Very soon, one will know how important this hour of grace is."

Pierina noticed that she was about to leave and said, "Oh beautiful, dear Saint Mary, I thank you! Please bless my homeland Italy, bless the whole world, especially the Holy Father, the priests, the monks and nuns, and the sinners." Our Lady answered, "I have an abundance of graces ready for all those children who hear my voice and take my wishes to heart." With these words the vision ended. Also during this vision Our Lady confided to Pierina a secret and promised to come again and tell her when the moment would come for revealing it.

Miraculous Healings During this Apparition

Parents brought to the church a boy of about five or six years who was suffering from polio and could not stand or walk. Other parents brought their daughter, about twenty-six years old, who suffered since she was twelve years old from severe tuberculosis. She had not been able to utter a single word for the last nine years.

In the same moment both were completely healed. The girl who had not been able to speak a word for the past nine years now sang a song of praise with a full voice. Since then she has been able to sing and speak without any difficulty.

The parents of the boy carried him in their arms into the church, now he could stand and walk. Later on he was shown in public from a balcony to the rejoicing crowd in the big square in front of the church. The whole crowd was deeply stirred when they saw the child jump up and down. He declared, "I have seen Our Lady in the church and she smiled at me benevolently." Since that time both have been in good health. The boy married some years ago and the girl has become a pious God-fearing nun who is living only to expiate for the religious orders and priests.

A Third Miracle

The third miracle happened during the time of the appearance of Our Lady, not in the church of Montichiari, but in a private home of the town. A woman of about thirty-six years was healed at home during the time of the apparition. From childhood on she was not normal but also not completely mentally disturbed. She could not speak, but the worst thing was that she had no control over her bodily functions. Her sister-in-law had to stay with her at home while her father went to the cathedral to the anticipated appearance of Our Lady. Her sister-in-law prayed the holy Rosary at the time of the appearance and exclaimed spontaneously, "Our dear Lady, if you are really present in the Church of Montichiari, please heal this poor sick girl!" In the same moment the sick person was healed completely. She was healed forever! Loud and full of joy she prayed with her sister-in-law the holy Rosary to the end. When the father came home from the church, he was astonished and full of joy upon seeing his daughter healed.

This miracle especially caused a sensation and was later declared to be the most important one by several physicians. As in this case, any mass suggestion had to be excluded. The healing was lasting. The girl died some years later, but one of her brothers is still alive and can witness to all this.

Chastity of the married lay catholics :

It is plain that if the eyes be fixed upon those of the other sex, we render ourselves hateful in the sight of God, whom alone it is our duty to please. He , from whom we should have received reward, will mete out to us chastisement instead. Wherefore, if divine love fails to release us from our sins, fear must restrain us. And if the joys of heaven do not attract us, then let the thought of unending torments deter us. So one begins to break away from evil when one fears to give displeasure to his Maker.

If anyone asks, how shall I attain to this fear of God? I answer: If you will fear God, call to mind that He sees all things. If an evil conscience seduces you , think that God looks down upon you.

" The fear of the Lord is the beginning of Wisdom." ( Eccles.i. 16)

 Chastity

The result of chastity is that our heavenly Spouse becomes enamoured of us through its beauty. No soul can please God, on the other hand, unless it be chaste and stainless, for whilst it is a slave to impurity and sensuality it is hateful and rejected of God. Chastity has a charm in the sight of both God and man. Hence the old enemy of our race envies us the possession of this virtue and never ceases his assaults against it. Many a one does this instigator of all uncleanness and impurity corrupt, for he spares none, even the cleric of the sanctuary or the monk in his solitude, and , sad to say, he sometimes gets the better of those who were well known for their religion and virtue.

We see, then, how needful it is to use all vigilance to assist one another to preserve this virtue. Losing this , we lose all that we have, and ourselves as well: we lose God, we lose our souls, and all that we are.

 Great love from God

St John urges effective love, when he says ," My children let us not love in word , nor in tongue , but in deed, and in truth." Our Lord urged the same in these words," Not everyone that saith to me, Lord , Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doth the will of my Father Who is in Heaven, he shall enter into the kingdom of Heaven. " The further, therefore, we have departed from sin the more perfectly we fulfill the commandments of God; the more readily we follow also the Divine counsels and the holy inspirations of the Holy Spirit, the more genuine and the more perfect will our charity be. In this way we can judge the degree of our charity.

Charity is proved by good will. It is impossible not to wish or desire the greatest good for him whom we truly love.

We must especially observe the teaching of our Lord," He that hath my commandments and keepeth them, he it is that loveth Me."

Charity tends toward union. That is why the Apostle says that he has the desire to be dissolved and to be with Christ. Although this desire can be perfectly fulfilled only in the next life, still the soul wounded with love removes everything that may stand in the way of this union, renounces all things for God's sake , and suffers all in order to merit to arrive at such union. In the meanwhile , it unites itself , as often as permitted , to God Incarnate through the sacrament of the Most Holy Eucharist and by thought and desire dwells in its eternal home .Thus it more or less feels that it is not far from its Beloved , but that it lives in Him and by Him.

There is scarcely a religious to be found who would not be animated to endure hardships and difficulties in the way of the Lord , if he but directed his mind toward that heavenly glory which is prepared for him and if he attentively contemplated what great things our Lord Jesus christ has suffered for him, and most of all if he remembered the reward he will receive from God.

 Meditation

meditation has three parts. Each part corresponds to one of the three faculties of the soul that enter into prayer. First the matter must be assembled and presented to the intellect as the object on which it is to occupy itself in thought. This pertains to the memory. Secondly , we consider , dwell upon and digest the matter. This pertains to the intecllect . Finally , we resolve by our will to carry out in practice the obligations we have learned. Thus, the memory suggests , the intecllect meditates and is enlightened , the will is filled with holy affections, good desires and resolutions concerning the practice of virtue.

1.  Preparation :

  Remote preparation :

     1. Avoidance of sin and of voluntary imperfections.

     2. A great love for solitude and silence.

     3. Freedom of the heart from all earthly affections.

     4. Avoidance of anxiety and disturbances.

    Proximate preparation :

        1. Prayer for the proper understanding of the matter.

        2. Attentive assimilation of the matter into the soul

       3. Determination in a general way of the affections and resolutions.

2.Introduction

      Introduction:

          1. Vivid recollection of God's presence

          2. Act of contrition

          3. Prayer asking for help to meditate well

3. Meditation proper

         1. Memory

Memory presents the material to the intellect.

         2. The intellect dwells upon the event , virtue or truth and derives conclusions therefrom

              a. who , what , where?

              b. By what means? why? How ? When?

              c. Especially however: What does this mean to me?

How have I observed it in the past?

What should i do about it in the future?

What obstacles are to be removed and what dangers avoided? What means are to be used?

        3. During the meditation the will tends toward particular affections: Sorrow , contrition, horror, humility, love, fervor, gratitude , fear , joy, compassion, admiration..etc.

And at the end towards more general affections:

1. Good resolutions

2.thanksgiving

3.oblation

4. petition

On February 11, 2013, exorcist Father Gabriel Armoth, forced the Devil to confess his diabolic plans for humanity and the Church.

Exorcist: “In the name of the Immaculate Virgin Mary, I order you to tell the truth about what is happening to the Church of Christ.”

Demoniac/Lucifer: “This pains me. The mere hearing of her name is for me and for us demons an infinite torment. I do not want to speak, but the High Lady forces me to answer you lousy priest! The Catholic Church is under attack! The powers of darkness are unleashed against the Bride of what we hung on the Cross.   That One up there is about to return to earth, I don’t know where or when, but I feel that day is very, very, very close.

I concentrate all my energies to channel my billions of demons against the Apostolic See. Corruption is not enough, greed for money is not enough, it is not enough to provoke scandals, a battle must be waged that has as its final result the destruction of the so-called Church of Rome.”

Exorcist: “In the name of Christ, tell me what do you want to do against the sweet Bride of God?”

Demoniac/Lucifer: “It is two thousand years since we fallen angels with the help of men of the Church and politicians we try to mortally strike that terrible invention of the Nazarene. Unfortunately we have not yet succeeded, because She belongs to the Almighty. But we don’t give up. We will continue to hit it, to make it bleed, we must come to occupy the throne of the Vicar of the One nailed to the cross. By hook or by crook. Whatever it takes. We are working to depopulate the seminaries, to close the convents.”

Exorcist: “In the name of Almighty God, I order you to tell me what you are trying to do and organize?”

Demoniac/Lucifer: “Nooooooo! I do not want to tell you that.”

Exorcist: “I order you by the Most Precious Blood of Christ, to tell me what I have asked of you.”

Demoniac/Lucifer: “That One up there is tired of your sins. He is disgusted with the action of men. You are drowned in sin. Most of humanity is mine, spiritually dead and unable to rise again.

By now many cardinals, bishops, priests, are in total disagreement with the tradition of your Church. We want confusion, dissociation, division inside and outside the Petrine See, as you call it.”

Exorcist: “In the name of the Holy Martyrs, of Saint Pio, of Saint Bernadette, tell me the truth about the future of the Church of Rome.”

Demoniac/Lucifer: “I have a goal: to drag as many souls as possible into my realm of torment. I want to take revenge for my expulsion from heaven, by snatching souls from Him. This is my eternal revenge.

I can tell you that we will provoke a terrible attack on the Roman Church, we will make its walls tremble. We gave birth to the economic crisis to impoverish the world population, discourage those who pray and instill the poison of estrangement from Him. Today, the earth is completely invaded by my fallen angels, and if you could see with the eyes of the spirit, you would realize that it is all dark. Totally dark. If you saw the infernal monsters acting around the world you would die of fear for the horrible shape they have. Yet you don’t believe it.

That One up there is sad because every day she sees many of her children falling to hell, despite her continuous appearances, which hardly anyone believes. Her tears shed for the pitiful state in which many souls live, are about to end and will leave room for the punishments of heaven.”

Our Guardian Angels at Holy Mass

During the Mass, you can ask your guardian angel to present your prayers to God at the Offertory part of the Mass when the gifts are brought up.

According to "The Testimony of Catalina on the Holy Mass":

"Some of them [guardian angels] were carrying something like a golden bowl with something that shone a great deal with a golden-white light. The Virgin Mary said: "They are the Guardian Angels of the people who are offering this Holy Mass for many intentions, those who are conscious of what this celebration means. They have something to offer the Lord.."

"Offer yourselves at this moment... offer your sorrows, your pains, your hopes, your sadness, your joys, your petitions. Remember that the Mass has infinite value. Therefore, be generous in offering and in asking."

"Behind the first Angels came others who had nothing in their hands; they were coming empty handed. The Virgin Mary said: "Those are the angels of the people who are here but never offer anything. They have no interest in living each liturgical moment of the Mass and they have no gifts to carry before the Altar of the Lord."

"At the end of the procession came other angels who were rather sad, with their hands joined in prayer but with their eyes downcast. "These are the Guardian Angels of the people who are here but do not want to be, that is to say of the people who have been forced to come here, who have come out of obligation but without any desire to participate in the Holy Mass. The angels go forth sadly because they have nothing to carry to the Altar, except for their own prayers."

"Do not sadden your Guardian Angel. Ask for much, ask for the conversion of sinners, for peace in the world, for your families, your neighbors, for those who ask for your prayers. Ask, ask for much, but not only for yourselves, but for everyone else.

 THE PURPLE SCAPULAR

1. What is the Purple Scapular?

The Purple Scapular is a sacramental object primarily used for display on a wall in a home. It consists of two purple wool panels connected by cords. It is a heavenly gift which promises divine protection for your family against natural disasters, storms, supernatural chastisements, and even intruders.

2. What is the history of the Purple Scapular?

In 1878 the Purple Scapular was given to the world by the Mother of God in a vision to the approved French mystic, Marie-Julie Jahenny. Jesus also appeared to Marie-Julie with explanations and promises regarding this scapular.

3. Is the Purple Scapular known by another name?

Yes. The full name is the Purple Scapular of Benediction and Protection.

4. What are the promises and protections of the Purple Scapular?

Our Lady promised Marie-Julie that those who possess this scapular “will see their family and home protected… from fires, chastisements, storms, and darkness. They will have light as if it were plain day.”

Crucially, it is also “like a lightning rod beneath which the blows of divine wrath will not strike.”

Our Lord revealed that those who reverently use it “will be spared the troubles of the soul” and “will be sheltered from danger as if they already possess heaven.”

5. How can I receive the divine protections of the Purple Scapular?

You can display, carry, or wear the Purple Scapular. Most people display this scapular on a wall near the entrance of the home. You can also wear it or carry it with you in your pocket, in a handbag, in your car, and so on.

6. What is one of the easiest ways to learn about the history and promises of the Purple Scapular as well as the meanings of the specific images as Jesus and Mary explained them?

Each of the two Purple Scapular panels present multiple and detailed Catholic images of the Passion and Death of Christ, with a focus on the Thirteenth Station of the Cross, when Jesus, now expired, was held in his mother’s arms.

To this day, seeing a Purple Scapular in the home of a friend or relative is how most people discover this divine insurance policy for families. We believe, like the crucifix or an image of Mary, it is destined to be a fixture in every Catholic household. By displaying one on your wall, you are helping fulfill the desire of Jesus and his mother for every home to be graced with a Purple Scapular, which, until our times, was largely hidden from the world.

7. Do I need to say special prayers?

Yes. Brief prayers were given directly to Marie-Julie Jahenny by Our Lady and by Jesus. The Purple Scapular available from the Mary Foundation comes with a religious card featuring the official Purple Scapular Prayers.

‘It should be in a place where you will see it on a daily basis that is also appropriate for an important religious item.

The most popular location is a wall near the entrance of the home, which will allow you to gaze upon your Purple Scapular every time you come and go. Doing this will help you sense the consolations of protection associated with the Purple Scapular as well as serve for a reminder to offer the simple prayers.

PRAYER FOR THE PURPLE SCAPULAR :

"O, Crux Ave! Spes unica! Et Verbum caro factum est! O Jesus, vanquisher of death, save us!"

(Translation: O hail to the Cross! Our only hope! And the Word was made flesh.) The first part must be said in Latin as it was given in Latin.

(You can also choose your living room, dining room, kitchen, bedroom, or an area designated for prayer.)

The NINE PROMISES of the HOLY WOUND OF THE SHOULDER OF OUR BLESSED SAVIOR

Devotion revealed to Marie-Julie Jahenny

(mystic approved in 1875).

                                    ******

Our Lord showed her this gaping, open Wound and revealed its depth:

“The Pain is incomprehensible in the hearts of My children!  How this devotion pleases and consoles Me, how often have the prayers of these Wounds risen to My Heart and have torn (open) the (way of) salvation for souls entrusted to Hell.” (May 17, 1878)

(That is, devotion to the Holy Wound has saved souls from damnation by granting the graces for salvation.)

Promises and graces revealed to Marie-Julie Jahenny for those who honour His Sacred Wound of the Shoulder:

1 - “I will bless all the souls who propagate this devotion: I grant them abundant graces.” (March 29, 1878)

2 - “O souls who love Me, who propagate this devotion, I take you under My protection, I keep you under the mantle of My affection.” (March 29, 1878)

3 - “I will dispel the darkness that will come to their heart.” (December 28, 1877)

4 - “I will console them in their pains.” “I will come in the midst of their greatest afflictions, to enlighten, to comfort them.” (February 8, 1878) (28 December 1877,February 8 and April 12, 1878)

5 - “I will come to bless them in their undertakings.” (March 29, 1878)

6 - “I will give them a tender love for the Cross.  I will come to assist them at the time of death, with this cross and I will introduce them into My Heavenly Kingdom.” (April 12, 1878)

7 - “I will sweeten their agony.” (December 28, 1877). “I will come at the hour of death. I will console them in their passage.” (February 8, 1878).

“Especially at the hour of death, I will come to give them a sweet moment of calm and tranquillity. I will tell them: 'O good holy soul, who has spread this devotion (knowing) that I had so much at heart that it be made known, come to receive the reward of your labours, the fruit of blessing.'.” (March 29, 1878)

8 - “I will shelter them, I will assist them, I will console all the souls that seek to propagate this Sacred Wound. At the time of death, I will console the souls that have compensated Me by their devotion and compassion to the Wound so deep and painful. I will come to strengthen them in their final fears.  I will come and prepare their passage: Thank you, you who have compensated Me for My pains.” (May 17,1878)

9 - “See,” Jesus said, pointing to His Sacred Wound with extreme tenderness, “all My children who have recognised this Wound, who have venerated it, have prayed to it, will have on the Last Day a great and generous reward.   I do not simply show it, I pronounce it.  My Word is Divine.” (May 17, 1878)

:::::::::

It is related in the annals of Clairvaux that St. Bernard asked Our Lord which was His greatest unrecorded suffering and Our Lord answered: "I had on My Shoulder, while I bore My Cross on the Way of Sorrows, a grievous Wound, which was more painful than the others and which is not recorded by men. Honor this Wound with thy devotion and I will grant thee whatsoever thou dost ask through Its virtue and merit. And in regard to all those who shall venerate this Wound, I will remit to them all their venial sins and will no longer remember their mortal sins."

This revelation and promise of Our Dear Savior is another proof of His unlimited mercy. You are urged to say these prayers daily and to promulgate this prayer on a continuous basis, so that others may share in this blessing.

Prayer to the Holy Shoulder Wound-

"O Loving Jesus, meek Lamb of God, I miserable sinner, salute and worship the most Sacred Wound of Thy Shoulder on which Thou didst bear Thy heavy Cross, which so tore Thy flesh and laid bare Thy Bones as to inflict on Thee an anguish greater than any other wound of Thy Most Blessed Body.  I adore Thee, O Jesus most sorrowful; I praise and glorify Thee, and give Thee thanks for this most sacred and painful Wound, beseeching Thee by that exceeding pain, and by the crushing burden of Thy heavy Cross to be merciful to me, a sinner, to forgive me all my mortal and venial sins, and to lead me on towards Heaven along the Way of Thy Cross. Amen."

"Most of the saved pass through Purgatory before arriving at the fullness of beatitude." ~Padre Pio.

Our Lady said; “Thus you grow, O flowers cultivated by me in my garden, because you receive the beauty and the perfume of your Mother. Then, accompanied by the angels and the saints of paradise, and with the prayer of the souls in purgatory, I present myself each day before the throne of God to offer Him ever larger bouquets of these flowers from my garden.”

Message No 133

TITLED My Property

a. "If you remain in the garden of my Immaculate Heart, you become my property. Thus, no one can any longer take you away from me, because I myself am your defense; you should always feel safe.

b. You must no longer fear either Satan, or the world, or the frailty of your nature.

c. Certainly you will experience that seduction and that temptation which the Lord permits as a test to allow you to experience the extent of your weakness.

d. But I will defend you from the Evil One, who can do nothing to harm those who are part of my property.

e. Then gently I cultivate you till each one of you becomes that kind of garden in which, as in mine, the divine splendor of the Trinity can be reflected.

f. I form you with maternal solicitude. With my own hands, I root out from you whatever might, in any way, be displeasing to the Lord.

g. The Spirit in whom I am clothed is like a fire which consumes everything within you, so that there remain not even a shadow which might bedim that beauty to which your heavenly Mother wishes to bring you. I want to make you a most pure transparency of God.

h. And then, I am strengthening in you those virtues which are like roots on which depends any possibility of your growth: faith, hope and charity. Round about these, I am giving you, as ornaments, all those other virtues which have made your Mother beautiful in the sight of God.

i. And in the measure that you open yourself more and more to the light of God, I am sprinkling upon you the balm of my perfume: humility, confidence, self-abandonment.

J. THUS YOU GROW, O FLOWERS CULTIVATED BY ME IN MY GARDEN, BECAUSE YOU RECEIVE THE BEAUTY AND THE PERFUME OF YOUR MOTHER.

K. THEN, ACCOMPANIED BY THE ANGELS AND THE SAINTS OF PARADISE, AND WITH THE PRAYER OF THE SOULS IN PURGATORY, I PRESENT MYSELF EACH DAY BEFORE THE THRONE OF GOD TO OFFER HIM EVER LARGER BOUQUETS OF THESE FLOWERS FROM MY GARDEN.

l. When you have become like this, then all the Church will become my garden, in which the Divine Trinity will take delight in being reflected.

m. The Father will rejoice to see the design of his creation perfectly realized in it. The Son will dwell with you, into whose midst the reign of the Father has already come. The Holy Spirit will be Life Itself, in a world reconsecrated to the glory of God.

n. This will be the triumph of my Immaculate Heart."

FIRST SATURDAY OF THE MONTH ACT OF REPARATION PRAYER TO THE IMMACULATE HEART OF MARY ♥ 🌹 🙏

O Most Holy Virgin, and Our Mother, we listen with grief to the complaints of your Immaculate Heart surrounded with the thorns placed therein at every moment by the blasphemies and ingratitude of ungrateful humanity. We are moved by the ardent desire of loving you as Our Mother and of promising a true devotion to Your Immaculate Heart.

We therefore kneel before You to manifest the sorrow we feel for the grievances that people cause You, and to atone by our prayers and sacrifices for the offenses with which they return your love. Obtain for them and for us the pardon of so many sins. Hasten the conversion of sinners that they may love Jesus Christ and cease to offend the Lord, already so much offended. Turn you eyes of mercy toward us, that we may love God with all our heart on earth and enjoy Him forever in Heaven.

"O my Jesus, I offer this for love of Thee, for the conversion of sinners, and in reparation for the sins committed against the Immaculate Heart of Mary. (Sacrifice Prayer)

THE FIRST 5 SATURDAYS OF THE MONTH DEVOTION

Our Lady of Fatima Promises all the Graces Necessary for Heaven

if a Catholic Finishes the Five First Saturdays Devotion

"Whether the world has war or peace depends on the practice of this devotion, along with the consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. This is why I desire its propagation so ardently, especially because this is also the will of our dear Mother in Heaven." -Sr. Lucy (March 19, 1939)

During her July apparition at Fatima, Our Lady said to Lucia, “I shall come to ask... that on the First Saturday of every month, Communions of reparation be made in atonement for the sins of the world.” Although she made no further mention of this devotion at Fatima, on December 10, 1925, our Blessed Mother again appeared to Lucia at Pentevedra, Spain, where the seer had been sent to the Dorothean Sisters to learn to read and write. It was there Our Lady completed her request for the Five First Saturdays and gave her great promise.

Appearing with the Queen of Heaven in that apparition was the Infant Jesus, Who said to Lucia: “Have pity on the Heart of your Most Holy Mother. It is covered with thorns with which ungrateful men pierce it at every moment, and there is no one to remove them with an act of reparation.”

Our Lady then spoke: “See, my daughter, my Heart encircled by thorns with which ungrateful men pierce it at every moment by their blasphemies and ingratitude. Do you, at least, strive to console me. Tell them that I promise to assist at the hour of death with the graces necessary for salvation all those who, in order to make reparation to me, on the First Saturday of five successive months, go to confession, receive Holy Communion, say five decades of the Rosary, and keep me company for a quarter of an hour, meditating on the fifteen mysteries of the Rosary.”

The elements of this devotion, therefore, consist in the following four points, all of which must be offered in reparation to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. One should make this intention before carrying out Our Lady’s requests. A renewal of the actual intention at the time is best; however, if such an intention is made now, it will fulfill the requirements if, for instance, the actual intention is forgotten at the time of confession.

Confession: This confession can be made before the First Saturday or afterward, provided that Holy Communion be received in the state of grace. In 1926, Christ in a vision explained to Lucia that this confession could be made a week before or even more, and that it should be offered in reparation.

Holy Communion: Before receiving Holy Communion, it is likewise necessary to offer it in reparation to Our Lady. Our Lord told Lucia in 1930, “This Communion will be accepted on the following Sunday for just reasons, if my priests allow it so.” So if work or school, sickness, or another just reason prevents the Communion on a First Saturday, with this permission it may be received the following Sunday. If Communion is transferred, any or all of the other acts of the devotion may also be performed on Sunday if the person so desires.

Rosary: The Rosary is a vocal prayer said while meditating upon the mysteries of Our Lord’s life and Passion and Our Lady’s life. To comply with the request of our Blessed Mother, it must be offered in reparation and said properly while meditating.

15-minute meditation: Also offered in reparation, the meditation may embrace one or more mysteries; it may include all, taken together or separately. This meditation should be the richest of any meditation, because Our Lady promised to be present when she said “...those who keep me company....”

To those who faithfully follow Our Lady’s requests for the Five First Saturdays, she has made a wonderful promise which she, as Mediatrix of All Graces, will certainly fulfill: “I promise to assist at the hour of death with the graces necessary for salvation.” This means that our Blessed Mother will be present at the hour of death with the actual grace of final perseverance, (which after the gift/grace of Faith), is the most important grace.

After completing the Five First Saturdays, one may continue the devotion simply to console the Immaculate Heart of Our Lady. A tender love of our Blessed Mother will lead one to do all he can to make reparation for the sins which pierce her Immaculate Heart. Let us remember, too, that although Our Lady made this promise to those who would observe five such First Saturdays in succession, in her July apparition she asked simply that Communions of reparation be made on every First Saturday to atone for the sins of the world.

The observance of the first Saturday in honor of the Immaculate Heart of Mary is intended to make reparation to it for the sins of mankind. This devotion was revealed by the Blessed Virgin to three children, Francisco, Jacinta and Lucia to whom she appeared at Fatima, Portugal, in 1917. On June 13, 1917, Our Lady specifically stated in speaking to Lucia: "Jesus wants to make use of you to make me known and loved. He wants to establish in the world devotion to my Immaculate Heart.

Our Lady repeated this in the July 13th apparition when, after the vision of Hell that was granted to the three children, she said: "You have seen Hell, where the souls of poor sinners go. To save them, God wishes to establish in the world devotion to my Immaculate Heart. If what I say to you is done, many souls will be saved and there will be peace." Our Lady asks for reparation.

"There are so many souls whom the Justice of God condemns for sins committed against me, that I have come to ask reparation;" reparation to this Heart for the sins of mankind, in particular the five kinds of offenses and blasephemies against the Immaculate Heart of Mary, namely:

1. Blasphemies against the Immaculate Conception

2. Blasphemies against her perpetual virginity

3. Blasphemeies against the divine and spiritual maternity of Mary

4. Blasphemies involving the rejection and dishonoring of her images

5. The neglect of implanting in the hearts of children a knowledge and love of this Immaculate Mother

"O my Jesus, I offer this for love of Thee, for the conversion of sinners, and in reparation for the sins committed against the Immaculate Heart of Mary. (Sacrifice Prayer)

I MUST IN A LITTLE TIME GO TO GOD

A letter written in old age

I do not pray that you may be delivered from your pains, but I pray God earnestly that He would give you strength and patience to bear them as long as He pleases.   Comfort yourself with Him who holds you fastened to the cross. He will loose you when He thinks fit.  Happy those who suffer with Him.  Accustom yourself to suffer in that manner and seek from Him the strength to endure as much, and as long,as He shall judge to be necessary for you. The men of the world do not comprehend these truths, nor is it to be wondered at, since they suffer like what they are, and not like  Christians. They consider sickness as a pain to nature, and not as a favor from God; and seeing it only in that light, they find nothing in it but grief and stress. But those who consider sickness as coming from the hand of God, as the effect of His mercy, and the means which He employs for their salvation—such commonly find in it great sweetness and sensible consolation.

I wish you could convince yourself that God is often (in some sense) nearer to us, and more effectually present with us, in sickness than in health. Rely upon no other physician; for, according to my apprehension, He reserves your cure to Himself.  Put , then, all your trust in Him, and you will soon find the effects of it in your recovery, which we often retard by putting greater confidence in physique than in God.

Whatever remedies you make use of, they will succeed only so far as He permits. Whey pains come from God, He only can cure them. He often sends diseases of the body to cure those of the soul. Comfort yourself with the sovereign Physician both of the soul and body.

Be satisfied with the condition in which God places you: however happy you may think me, I envy you. Pains and suffering would be a paradise to me while I should suffer with my God, and the greatest pleasures would be hell to me if I could relish them without Him.  All my consolation would be to suffer something for His sake.

I must in a little time, go to God. What comforts me in this life is that I now see Him by faith; and I see Him in such a manner as might make me say sometimes, I believe no more, but I see. I feel what faith teaches us, and in that assurance and that practice of faith I will live and die with Him.

Continue, then always with God; it is the only support and comfort for your affliction.  I shall beseech Him to be with you.  I present my service.—Brother Lawrence

Do you know there is a plenary or total indulgence gained for kissing the holy Rosary? A kiss on the rosary from the heart gives you 500 days of plenary indulgence. Now learn other benefits. When you pray five decades of rosary you receive 10 yrs of plenary indulgence. When you go on rosary procession you receive 7 yrs of plenary indulgence. When you wear the rosary on your wrist, waist, or neck by way of external devotion you receive 100 days of plenary indulgence. How great would be the benefits of those who kiss the rosary severally, pray lots of decades, wear the rosary all the time, do lots of rosary procession! With all these indulgences your heavenly bank will be full and ready to help you on the day of last judgment. Many Catholics don't know this because, in this present world true teachings are either not taught or hidden from the faithful. We live in a world full of errors. Congratulations to you then whom this revelation has been given. The holy Virgin Mary remains my teacher. Pls as you comment, do a little sacrifice or work of Mercy by sharing for others to learn and benefit as well. God bless you and keep you as you join and help in spreading the Gospel of Christ. Ave Gracias!

WHY PRAYING THE ROSARY TOGETHER IN A GROUP IS VERY IMPORTANT.

When people pray the Rosary together it is far more formidable to the devil than one said privately, because in this public prayer, it is an army that is attacking him. He can often overcome the prayer of an individual, (especially when it is said in distraction) but if this prayer is joined to that of other devout Christians, the devil has much more trouble in getting the best of it. It is very easy to break a single stick, but if you join it to others to make a bundle it cannot be broken. In union there is strength.

Somebody who says the Rosary alone only gains the merit of one Rosary, but if he says it together with thirty other people he gains the merit of thirty Rosaries. This is the law of public prayer. How profitable, how advantageous this is.

Prayer in the Divine Will for the Holy Souls in Purgatory

From the writings of Luisa Picarreta (translated from the original Italian by Mrs. Angelica Avcikurt)

In the entry of March 14, 1919 in Volume 12 of the writings of Luisa Picarreta, she wrote:

“Being in my usual state, I found myself outside of myself and I saw my deceased confessor. A thought came to me, ‘ask if you are obliged or not to tell, and therefore to write that which you have not told your confessor.’

I asked him telling him what the matter was and he said, ‘Yes, you are obligated.’ And he added, ‘Once you offered a beautiful suffrage for me. If you knew how much good it did to me, the refreshment and consolation that I felt and the years (in purgatory)it shortened!’

I said, ‘I don’t remember. Tell me what it was and I will repeat it.’

He said, ‘You entered in the Divine Will and took the power, the immensity of His love, the great merit of the sufferings of the Son of God and of all the Divine Qualities…then you came and poured everything over me and I was bathed in the Love that contains the divine power, a bath of beauty, a bath of the Precious Blood and of all the divine qualities. Who can tell the great good that you did to me? They were all baths that contained power and divine greatness. Repeat it for me. Repeat it for me…’”

_______________________________________________________

The following prayer was inspired by the above writings of Luisa Picarreta and may be said for nine days as a novena:

Eternal Father, I immerse myself in Your Divine Will, I take and make mine all His power, the immensity of His love; I make mine the great merit of the sufferings of Your Son Jesus Christ, all His Passion, His every wound, His every thorn, every drop of His Blood, and I make mine all of His most holy humanity, His every act, all of His merits, His Holiness and His Divinity; I take all the acts of the Blessed Virgin Mary, all of her holiness, her merits and her sufferings, and making this infinite capital all mine, I pour it over the souls in Purgatory (especially over the soul of ……..), so that immersed in this bath of power and divine immensity, their sufferings may be shortened and they may be admitted sooner into Your Presence in order to Praise You in the Celestial Homeland. Amen.

It’s no wonder why most Protestants hates Mary to their bones.

Here are snippets of the reactions of a demoniac during particular prayers in a real exorcism dated September 24, 2017, that lasted more than 3 hours straight.

Setting: Adoration Chapel

Victim: 20+ yr old Filipina who came from a rural area. During the entire possession state, she spoke in straight English with no local accent whatsoever, as if a native speaker of that language, sometimes she spoke in clear Spanish.

Exorcist: (kneeling before the exposed Blessed Sacrament) O Sacrament Most Holy, O Sacrament Divine, all praise and all thanksgiving be every moment Thine.

Demoniac: (with a mocking laughter) Why are you worshipping that “pan”? Worship me instead. I am immortal and powerful. He just gave you bread, nothing more. (Followed by a growl)

Exorcist: (commanding the demon to worship God) Kneel before His holy presence in the Eucharist, unclean spirit! Kneel and worship Him, your Creator and God!

Demoniac: Neverrrrrrrr!

Exorcist: (instructing all those assisting him to kneel before the Blessed Sacrament with heads bowed) O Sacrament Most Holy, O Sacrament Divine, all praise and all thanksgiving…

Demoniac: (shouting with fury) Do not worship Him! Worship me! He gives you nothing! I can give you everything! I own the world! I own everything in it! I can give it to you!

Exorcist: Holy, holy, holy, Lord God of hosts. Heaven and earth are full of your glory…

Demoniac: (Hissing and cursing) We were there, glorious and immortal. He threw us out of His presence. We did not accept His plan for you.

Exorcist: (praying the Litany of the Saints) Lord, have mercy on us…Christ, have mercy on us…Lord, have mercy on us.

Demoniac: (with a snarled voice and mocking) There is no mercy for you. You are just like us. Rebellious, disobedient, sinnnnerrrrrs!

Exorcist: Holy Mary, pray for us.

Demoniac: (face tightening) No! Stop it! Do not call that woman!

Exorcist: St. Michael…St. Gabriel…St. Raphael…

Demoniac: (a change in the pronoun used by the demoniac from the first person plural to singular) I was more glorious than them. Aaaaahhhhh (in a very furious tone). Call me and I will answer you!

Exorcist: (calling on each of the saints in the litany) St. Joseph…St. Augustine… St. Dominic…

Demoniac: (answering the litany with rage) Sinners! Sinners! Sinners all of them!

Exorcist: From all evil, deliver us O Lord… From all sin…

Demoniac: (jeering) You ask God to deliver you from evil and sin? You love sin. That is why we are here with you. Your sin will all destroy you. In a few years, the whole world will be ours because of you. Darkness will cover you all. (laughing with scorn) Do you not see it and experience it? It is already here.

Exorcist: That you govern and preserve your holy Church, we beg you to hear us.

Demoniac: I will destroy her!

Exorcist: That you humble the enemies of holy Church…

Demoniac: You are her enemies. These priests and religious that serve her. (then started to laugh with scorn) they are all unfaithful. They invited us even in their own houses with the things they do and practice. We will destroy them all from the inside. (then looking with raging eyes on one religious sister who was assisting) Yes, sister, your congregation has nothing of the holiness of your father (mentioning the name of a great saint where the congregation takes its inspiration). We will destroy you soon. We are already inside.

Exorcist: That you lift up our minds to heavenly desires, we beg you to hear us.

Demoniac: You all desire sin more than heaven. You do more evil things. (sneering laughter)

Exorcist: (started praying in latin using the Ritual) Praecipio tibi, quicumque es, spiritus immunde, et omnibus sociis tuis hanc dei famulan obsidentibus: ut per mysteria incarnationis, passionis, resurrectionis et ascensionis Domini nostri Jesu Christi, per missionem Spiritus Sancti, et per adventum ejusdem Domini nostri at judicium, dicas clare mihi nomen tuum, dicas clare mihi nomen tuum, dicas clare mihi nomen tuum, dicas clare mihi nomen tuum, dicas clare mihi nomen tuum…

Demoniac: Satanas! Padre, I know your sins…I will accuse you all at the hour of your death.

Exorcist: (repeating the command) Dicas clare mihi nomen tuum…

Demoniac: Lucifer! You think you worship God, Padre? Humanity worships me everytime. They worship me in their movies, their music, and their dances. (then in a whisper)  I am there whenever they only please themselves. (scorning laughter). You are wasting your time, Padre. She is ours, the world is ours. Humanity has rejected God.

Exorcist: Prorsus in omnibus obedias! Prorsus in omnibus obedias! Prorsus in omnibus obedias!

Demoniac: (growling voice) How dare you command us? You are just a man. We are immortal! You are just a priest. We are more powerful!

Exorcist: Prorsus in omnibus obedias!

Demoniac: We will not subject ourselves to you! Aaaahhh (as if in terrible agony)

Exorcist: Our Father…

Demoniac: He is no father to you. You do not listen to Him…. Stop that praying!

Assisting Sister: (started singing all joined her) Hail Mary, full of grace…

Demoniac: Stop that! Stop that! Stop that! She is just a woman! Damn you!

Assisting Sister and everyone: …pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death…

Demoniac: (growling) That woman never stops praying for you!

Exorcist: (instructing the sister and the others to sing the Salve Regina in latin)

Demoniac: Your queen is no queen to us! But He made her truly the queen! Damn her! Damn her! She destroyed everything!

Exorcist: (called everyone to recite the Nicene Creed) I believe in God the Father Almighty, …I believe in Jesus Christ …for us men and for our salvation, He came down from heaven…

Demoniac: (hissing and shouting expletives) There is no salvation for you!

Exorcist: (repeating that line over and over again) For us men and for our salvation, He came down from heaven…

Demoniac: (in exasperation) Nooooooooooo! Why should he become man? Why not become like us? He chose you over us! He chose you over us!

Exorcist: For us men and for our salvation, He came down from heaven. And by the power of the Holy Spirit, He became incarnate of the Virgin Mary and became man.

Demoniac: (infuriated) He chose her! He chose her to be His mother! Had we known it will be her, we would have killed her in the womb!

Exorcist: He will come again in glory to judge the living and dead and His kingdom will have no end…

Demoniac: (terrified) We suffer, we suffer terribly and fear the day of judgment to come.

Exorcist: Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One, have mercy on us and the whole world. (repeating 10x)

Demoniac: He should not be merciful to you. Yet, He has shown you mercy. You are all sinners and we will not stop until we bring you to damnation. We will bring many with us to hell!

Exorcist: Oh my Jesus, forgive us our sins. Save us from the fires of hell. Bring all souls to heaven, especially those who need most Thy mercy.

Demoniac: (surrendering but defiant) Noooooo!

Lessons Learned: Jesus is truly present in the Holy Eucharist. The devil recognizes that reality and fears it tremendously. But he sees the irreverent disposition of some Catholics toward the Blessed Sacrament and this gives him the opportunity to blaspheme it just like what some Christians do. Satan indeed is the accuser of mankind before God. He accuses us night and day. Lucifer wants to be worshiped as God and whenever we sin, the devil is emboldened. He is indeed a murderer from the beginning. Our hope is in God. Our Savior Jesus Christ came to save us. The devil is infuriated because of this. The Mother of God and the Saints in heaven unceasingly pray for our salvation. The Blessed Mother’s purity terrifies the demons. The devil will try their best to bring many to perdition. However, no matter how they try, when God stretches His hand of mercy, man will still be saved. Blessed be God! Blessed be His Holy Name! Pray unceasingly.

12 Messages Given To St. Padre Pio By Jesus About The End Of The World

.

Not many know that Padre Pio among so many gifts had a very special one, that of prophecy and the Lord Jesus Christ himself communicated with him, and in a letter of 1959 addressed to his superior, Padre Pio tells the revelation that Jesus made about the end of the world.

.

The epistle, attributed to Padre Pio, is quite long, full of messages, so we will only take an extract with 12 messages taken from the book by Renzo Baschera “I grandi profeti”

.

1. The world is walking in ruins. Men have abandoned the right path to venture on roads that end in the desert of violence … If they do not drink from the source of humility, charity and love, it will be a catastrophe.

.

2. Terrible things will come. I can no longer intercede for men. Divine piety is about to end. Man had been created to love life, and ended up destroying life …

.

3. When the world was entrusted to man, it was a garden. Man has turned it into an atmosphere full of poisons. Nothing now serves to purify the house of man. A deep work is necessary, which can only come from heaven.

.

4. Prepare to live three days in total darkness. These three days are very close … And in these days they will remain as dead without eating or drinking. Then the light will return. But many will be the men who will not see it anymore.

.

5. Many people will escape scared. It will run without a goal. They will say that there is salvation to the east and people will run to the east, but it will fall on a cliff. They will say that to the west there is salvation and people will run to the west, but they will fall into a furnace.

.

6. The earth will tremble and the panic will be great … The Earth is sick. The earthquake will be like a snake: they will feel it crawling everywhere. And many stones will fall. And many men will perish.

.

7. You are like ants, because the time will come when men will take their eyes off for a crumb of bread. Businesses will be looted, warehouses will be taken in assault and destroyed. Poor will be one who in those dark days will be without a candle, without a jug of water and without the necessary for three months.

.

8. A land will disappear … a great land. A country will be erased forever from geographical maps … And with it history, wealth and men will be dragged into the mud.

.

9. The love of man for man has become an empty word. How can you expect Jesus to love you, if you do not even love those who eat at your own table? … Of the wrath of God men of science will not be forgiven, but men of heart.

.

10. I’m desperate … I do not know what to do for humanity to repent. If you continue on this path, the tremendous wrath of God will be unleashed like a tremendous thunderbolt.

.

11. A meteorite will fall on the earth and everything will shine. It will be a disaster, much worse than a war. Many things will be canceled. And this will be one of the signs …

.

12. Men will live a tragic experience. Many will be overwhelmed by the river, many will be burned by fire, many will be buried by poisons … But I will stay close to the pure of heart.

.

Really to think and meditate, but when will this day happen? The key is in the same Bible 2 Peter 3, 2-13*

.

And to be attentive, because the Lord will come like a thief …

Matthew Taylor

A Catholic Place Texas

* 2 Peter 3:2-13 NIV

I want you to recall the words spoken in the past by the holy prophets and the command given by our Lord and Savior through your apostles. Above all, you must understand that in the last days scoffers will come, scoffing and following their own evil desires. They will say, “Where is this ‘coming’ he promised? Ever since our ancestors died, everything goes on as it has since the beginning of creation.” But they deliberately forget that long ago by God’s word the heavens came into being and the earth was formed out of water and by water. By these waters also the world of that time was deluged and destroyed. By the same word the present heavens and earth are reserved for fire, being kept for the day of judgment and destruction of the ungodly. But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance. But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything done in it will be laid bare. Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to live holy and godly lives as you look forward to the day of God and speed its coming. That day will bring about the destruction of the heavens by fire, and the elements will melt in the heat. But in keeping with his promise we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, where righteousness dwells.

Revelations, Promises, and the Meditations and Prayers on the Sorrows of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

“Jesus Christ Himself revealed to Blessed Veronica of Binasco, that, He is more pleased in seeing His Mother compassionated than Himself.” He said to her: ‘My daughter, tears shed for My Passion are dear to Me; but as I loved My Mother Mary with an immense love, the meditation on the torments which She endured at My death is even more agreeable to Me.’

“Wherefore the graces promised by Jesus to those who are devoted to the dolors of Mary are very great.” - St. Alphonsus Liguori

Our Lady lamented to St. Bridget that very few consoled Her by meditating on Her Sorrows, and “that the greater part of the world lived in forgetfulness of them: ‘I look around at all who are on earth, to see if by chance there are any who pity Me, and meditate upon My Sorrows; and I find that there are very few. Therefore, My daughter, though I am forgotten by many, at least do you not forget Me; consider My anguish, and imitate, as far as you can, My grief.’”

“For this purpose the Blessed Virgin Herself appeared in the year 1239 to the founder of the Order of the Servites, or servants of Mary, to ask them to institute a religious order in remembrance of Her sorrows.”

At Fatima, in 1916, the Angel of Peace appeared to the three child seers Lucy, Francisco and Jacinta, and after encouraging them to pray and teaching them a prayer of adoration, said “ ...The Hearts of Jesus and Mary are attentive to the voice of your supplications.”

At Fatima, on June 13, 1917, Our Lady, after informing the three child seers that Jacinta and Francisco will go to Heaven soon, but that Lucy is to stay on earth some time longer — She said to Lucy, “Jesus wishes to make use of you in order to make Me known and loved”, Our Lady then said: “He wants to establish in the world devotion to My Immaculate Heart...”

At Fatima, on July 13, 1917, after the child seers were terrified by the vision of hell, Our Lady said to them, “You have seen hell, where the souls of poor sinners go. To save them (poor sinners), God wills to establish in the world devotion to My Immaculate Heart. If what I say to you is done, many souls will be saved and there will be peace...”

Jesus Himself further explained His will to Sister Lucy. In response to her question asking Him why He would not convert Russia without the Pope doing the Consecration of Russia, Jesus said: “Because I want My whole Church to recognize that Consecration as a Triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, so that later on My Church will place devotion to My Mother’s Immaculate Heart beside devotion to My Sacred Heart.”

St. Albert the Great said, “that as we are under great obligations to Jesus for His Passion endured for our love, so also are we under great obligations to Mary for the martyrdom which She voluntarily suffered for our salvation in the death of Her Son.” He said “voluntarily (suffered), since, as St. Agnes revealed to St. Bridget, ‘our compassionate and benign Mother was satisfied rather to endure any torment than that our souls should not be redeemed.”

“The grief of Mary was so great that, were it divided amongst all men, it would suffice to cause their immediate death.”…. St. Bernardine of Sienna

“While other martyrs suffered by sacrificing their own lives, the Blessed Virgin suffered by sacrificing Her Son’s life – a life that She loved far more than Her own; so that She not only suffered in Her soul all that Her Son endured in His body, but moreover the sight of Her Son’s torments brought more grief to Her heart than if She had endured them all in Her own person.”…. St. Antoninus

“The Passion of Jesus began with His birth. So also did Mary, in all things like unto Her Son, endure Her martyrdom throughout Her life.”…. St. Bernard

It was “revealed to St. Bridget” by an angel, “that the Blessed Virgin, even before She became His Mother, knowing how much the Incarnate Word was to suffer for the salvation of men, and compassionating this innocent Saviour, Who was to be so cruelly put to death for crimes not His own, even then began Her great martyrdom.”

“The martyrs endured their torments in their bodies; Mary suffered Hers in Her soul.” ...St. Alphonsus de Liguori. “Now, as the soul is more noble than the body, so much greater were Mary’s sufferings than those of all the martyrs, as Jesus Christ Himself said to St. Catherine of Siena: ‘Between the sufferings of the soul and those of the body there is no comparison.’”

“The Blessed Virgin Mary, for the love She bore us, was willing to see Her Son sacrificed to Divine Justice by the barbarity of men. This great torment, then, which Mary endured for us — a torment that was more than a thousand deaths — deserves both our compassion and our gratitude. If we can make no other return for so much love, at least let us give a few moments this day to consider the greatness of the sufferings by which Mary became the Queen of martyrs; for the sufferings of Her great martyrdom exceeded those of all the martyrs; being, in the first place, the longest in point of duration; and in the second place, the greatest in point of intensity.”…. St. Alphonsus de Liguori.

“So great a love has our Heavenly Mother for us, that She deserves our gratitude, and that gratitude should be shown by at least meditating upon, and pitying Her in Her Sorrows.”…. St. Alphonsus de Liguori.

In the words of the Church:

Pope Benedict XIII, in 1724, promulgated and encouraged the practice of the devotion to Our Lady’s Sorrows when he bestowed many indulgences for the recitation of the Chaplet of the Seven Sorrows.

Our Lady’s Sorrows are commemorated twice a year on the liturgical calendar, September 15, and the Friday before Palm Sunday. Commemorating the Sorrows of the Blessed Virgin Mary twice a year on the Roman Liturgical Calendar demonstrates how important this devotion is to Heaven.

History of the Devotion

Devotion to the Mother of Sorrows dates back to the beginning of the Church. The first example we have is St. John at the foot of the Cross. This devotion was ensured in Church history by the gospel narrative of St. John — “Now there stood by the Cross of Jesus, His Mother...” (Jn. 19:25).

Though the devotion has always been part of Catholic piety, it was not until the 13th Century that the devotion of meditating on the sorrows of Our Lady began to flourish much more. In Florence, Italy seven holy men of noble birth left the city seeking solitude on Mount Senario and together formed a community dedicating their lives to prayer and penance. The seven holy men all had a strong devotion to Our Lady.

On Good Friday in 1239, while meditating on Our Lord’s Passion and Our Lady’s sufferings, Our Lady appeared to the 7 holy men and revealed to them Her wish for them to form an Order dedicated to practicing and promoting the devotion to Her Sorrows. These men became the founders of the religious Order of the Servants of Mary (or Servites) and are all canonized saints today.

At Our Lady’s request, the seven founders made the object of their Order meditation on the pains suffered by Our Lady in the Life, Passion and Death of Her Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, and undertook promoting this devotion of meditating on the Seven Sorrows of Our Lady to all Catholics, introducing the Chaplet (or Little Rosary) of the Seven Sorrows of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

The Seven Sorrows of Our Lady

1. St. Simeon’s Prophecy

2. The Flight into Egypt

3. The Loss of Jesus in the Temple

4. The Meeting of Mary and Jesus on the Way to Calvary

5. The Crucifixion and Death of Jesus

6. The Piercing of the Side of Jesus, and His Descent from the Cross

7. The Burial of Jesus.

Graces and promises attached to the practice of the devotion in honor of the Blessed Virgin Mary Sorrowing:

According to St. Alphonsus de Liguori (The Glories of Mary) it was revealed to Saint Elizabeth that at the request of Our Lady, Our Lord promised four principal graces to those devoted to Her Sorrows:

1. That those who before death invoke the divine Mother in the name of Her Sorrows will obtain true repentance of all their sins;

2. That He will protect all who have this devotion in their tribulations, and will protect them especially at the hour of death;

3. That He will impress on their minds the remembrance of His Passion;

4. That He will place such devout servants in Mother Mary’s hands to do with them as She wishes and to obtain for them all the graces She

desires.

In addition to these four graces there are also seven promises attached

to the practice of daily praying seven Hail Mary’s while meditating on Our Lady’s Tears and Sorrows. These seven promises were revealed to St. Bridget of Sweden:

1. “I will grant peace to their families.”

2. “They will be enlightened about the divine Mysteries.”

3. “I will console them in their pains and I will accompany them in

their work.”

4. “I will give them as much as they ask for as long as it does not oppose

the adorable will of My divine Son or the sanctification of their souls.”

5. “I will defend them in their spiritual battles with the infernal enemy and I will protect them at every instant of their lives.”

6. “I will visibly help them at the moment at their death - they will see the face of their Mother.”

7. “I have obtained this grace from My divine Son, that those who propagate this devotion to My tears and sorrows will be taken directly from this earthly life to eternal happiness, since all their sins will be forgiven and My Son will be their eternal consolation and joy.”

Opening Prayer

V/. O God +, come to my assistance

R/. O Lord, make haste to help me.

All Glory Be…

1) The Prophecy of Simeon

Meditation:

Sorrow as sharp as a sword shall pierce Mary’s heart because of Her Child. Mary is in the Temple, having come with Joseph to present the Child to God. They meet Simeon, the holy man, and Anna, the prophetess. Simeon takes the Baby in his arms, saying he will now die in peace because he has seen Christ, then he foretells the sorrow to come.

I grieve for thee, O Mary most sorrowful, in the affliction of thy tender heart at the prophecy of the holy and aged Simeon. Dear Mother, by thy heart so afflicted, obtain for me the virtue of humility and the gift of the holy fear of God.

Hail Mary…

2) The Flight Into Egypt

Meditation:

Soon the sword of sorrow strikes. Herod the King seeks to kill the Child. Warned in sleep by an angel, Joseph takes Jesus and His Mother Mary, setting out for Egypt, where they lived in obscurity and poverty until it was safe to return to Nazareth.

I grieve for thee, O Mary most sorrowful, in the anguish of thy most affectionate heart during the flight into Egypt and thy sojourn there. Dear Mother, by thy heart so troubled, obtain for me the virtue of generosity, especially toward the poor, and the gift of piety.

Hail Mary…

3) The Loss of the Child Jesus in the Temple

Meditation:

When Jesus is twelve, He is taken to Jerusalem for the Feast of Passover. On the return journey Joseph and Mary find at the end of the first day that Jesus is not with them. Racked with anxiety, they search for Him. Nobody in the streets, not even the beggars, can tell them where He is. Not till the third day do they find Him, in the Temple.

I grieve for thee, O Mary most sorrowful, in those anxieties which tried thy troubled heart at the loss of thy dear Jesus. Dear Mother, by thy heart so full of anguish, obtain for me the virtue of chastity and the gift of knowledge.

Hail Mary…

4) Mary Meets Jesus on the Way to Calvary

Meditation:

Mary has known fear and sorrow, but none so great as seeing Her beloved Son stumbling under the weight of the Cross. She hears the jeering shouts from the crowd and has no power to help Him. Pity and love are in Her eyes as She gazes at His blood-stained face. He is no better than a criminal, and Her heart is breaking as She follows Him to Golgotha.

I grieve for thee, O Mary most sorrowful in the consternation of thy heart at meeting Jesus as He carried His Cross. Dear Mother, by thy heart so troubled, obtain for me the virtue of patience and the gift of fortitude.

Hail Mary…

5) Jesus Dies on the Cross

Meditation:

With John, Mary stands at the foot of the Cross. “A sword shall pierce thy soul,” Simeon told Her. Truly Her heart is pierced with sorrow. Her beloved Son is dying and She shares in His suffering. She does not ask God to take away this agony. She is His Mother, so close to Him that His pain is Hers, too. And now He speaks from the Cross: “Woman, behold thy son.” Jesus gives His Mother to John, and to us. For all eternity She is our Mother.

I grieve for thee O Mary, most sorrowful, in the martyrdom which thy generous heart endured in standing near Jesus in His agony. Dear Mother, by thy afflicted heart, obtain for me the virtue of temperance and the gift of counsel.

Hail Mary…

6) Mary Receives Jesus

Meditation:

It is over. Dark clouds have appeared in the sky and upon the world. Jesus is dead. Joseph of Arimathea and Nicodemus take down the Body from the Cross. And Mary receives It in Her arms. She is filled with a sadness that no human heart has known. This is Her Son. Once She had cradled Him in Her arms, listened to His voice, watched Him working at the carpenter’s bench. Now He is dead. Her grief is great! And She begins to cleanse the Holy Wound’s with Her tears.

I grieve for thee, O Mary most sorrowful, in the wounding of thy compassionate heart, when the side of Jesus was struck by the lance and His Heart was pierced before His Body was removed from the Cross. Dear Mother, by thy heart thus transfixed, obtain for me the virtue of fraternal charity and the gift of understanding.

Hail Mary…

7) Jesus is Placed in the Tomb

Meditation:

Hastily the Body is wrapped in a clean linen cloth. Nicodemus has brought myrrh and aloes, and the Body is bound in the Shroud with them. Nearby is a new tomb, belonging to Joseph of Arimathea, and there they lay Jesus. Mary and John and the holy women follow them and watch as the great stone to the sepulchre is rolled. It is the end.

I grieve for thee, O Mary most sorrowful, for the pangs that wrenched thy most loving heart at the burial of Jesus. Dear Mother, by thy heart sunk in the bitterness of desolation, obtain for me the virtue of diligence and the gift of wisdom.

Hail Mary…

Closing Prayers

V/. Pray for us, O Virgin most sorrowful

R/. That we may be made be worthy of the promises of Christ.

Let us pray.

Let intercession be made for us, we beseech Thee, O Lord Jesus Christ, now and at the hour of our death, before the throne of Thy mercy, by the Blessed Virgin Mary, Thy Mother, whose most Holy Soul was pierced by a sword of sorrow in the hour of Thy bitter Passion. Through Thee, Jesus Christ, Savior of the world, Who with the Father and the Holy Spirit lives and reigns world without end. Amen.

Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary -

Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary, dwelling pure and holy, cover my soul with Thy maternal protection, so that being ever faithful to the voice of Jesus, it responds to His Love and obeys His Divine Will.

I wish, O my Mother, to keep unceasingly before me Thy Co-Redemption in order to live intimately with Thy Heart that is totally united to the Heart of Thy Divine Son.

Fasten me to this Heart by Thy own virtues and sorrows. Protect me always. Amen.
